WiperMax combines a bootable USB eraser, SHA-256 cryptographic certificates, full custody chain tracking, and automatic cloud sync — everything your organization needs to prove compliant data destruction.
How it works
Get the bootable ISO preconfigured with your account token. Flash to any USB in minutes.
Plug into any machine. Boot directly from USB — no OS, no drivers, no installation required.
Select the disk. WiperMax auto-selects the right standard. Start erasure with one tap.
A tamper-proof PDF with SHA-256 hash and custody chain is generated instantly — even offline.
When internet is available, all certificates auto-upload to your account, organized by client.
Platform capabilities
Core
Runs as a minimal Linux OS directly from the USB. No software to install on the client machine. Full low-level disk access from first boot.
Cryptographic proof
Every erasure generates a PDF certificate with a deterministic SHA-256 hash computed from the device serial, timestamps, technician, and method. The hash is reproducible and independently verifiable — if any data changes, the hash changes.
Full traceability
Every certificate includes a timestamped custody chain: device reception, inventory, erasure execution, and certificate issuance. Every step is recorded, signed, and immutable.
Multi-client
One WiperMax account serves multiple client companies. Every wipe is tagged to a client. Filter certificates by company, export records, and prove compliance per client individually.
Offline-first
Certificates are generated and stored directly on the USB the moment a wipe completes. No connectivity required. When internet is available, everything syncs automatically. Nothing is ever lost.
Smart detection
WiperMax detects whether a drive is HDD, SSD SATA, or NVMe and automatically selects the most effective erasure standard — no guesswork, no incorrect methods.
Standards & compliance
WiperMax implements the four most recognized data sanitization standards used by governments, enterprises, and compliance auditors worldwide.
National Institute of Standards and Technology Rev.1 — gold standard for modern SSD and NVMe.
US Department of Defense — three overwrite passes for magnetic media.
Uses the drive's own firmware to erase every cell including hidden areas inaccessible to software.
Destroys the internal encryption key of self-encrypting drives. All data permanently unrecoverable.
